Context
Our client, a major actor in the insurance sector is seeking an experienced Solution Architect with deep expertise in enterprise-grade architecture for CRM and Marketing platforms. In this role, you will act as part of a project team, translating both business and IT requirements into robust solution architectures for medium to large-scale systems. Your expertise in technologies such as MS Dynamics, Azure, and AWS will be critical to ensuring seamless integration of existing products with new developments.
As a Solution Architect, you will lead analysis, design, and technical activities, ensuring all artifacts align with the client’s requirements and the overarching Target Enterprise Architecture vision. Your responsibilities include defining and implementing solutions that achieve the best trade-offs between functional, non-functional, and operational requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Create and Maintain Solution Architecture
- Develop and validate the Solution Architecture Document (SAD) in collaboration with the Architecture Review Board.
- Technology Identification and Standards
- Collaborate with Application and Enterprise Architects to identify project technologies.
- Recommend development methodologies, frameworks, and coding standards that align with architectural guidelines and business requirements.
- Solution Design and Delivery
- Define the overall design and structure of applications.
- Ensure the final solution adheres to the defined architecture and technical standards.
- Support for Development and Testing
- Identify tasks for software engineering and guide project managers with accurate estimates of time and cost.
- Work with testing teams to determine infrastructure requirements and technical support needs.
- Team Leadership and Guidance
- Provide technical guidance to team members, mentoring them through complex challenges.
- Drive alignment across development efforts to maximize reuse of existing assets and guidelines.
- Decision-Making and Documentation
- Ensure all technical decisions are well-documented and aligned with the project’s strategic goals.
Profile
- Experience & Expertise
- A degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- At least 7 years in IT, including 5 years in IT solution design for complex projects.
- Proven ability to design, evaluate, and deliver solutions leveraging a wide variety of technologies.
- Knowledge and experience with Archimate 3.2, Microsoft CRM and Sparkx EA.
