Context
Our client started to implement Lean six years ago with Application Development and Maintenance (Business Analyst and IT) and some projects in the business (outside IT) with the Scrum framework. Now, new Agile initiatives are popping up a bit everywhere in the company. From prototyping in their incubator to long-run teams acting in very big products critical for the business and keep the light on. Their Agile Chapter mission is to support teams in their cultural change toward a continuous improvement mindset.
They deeply trust that Agility will support the Digital transformation needed to embrace the Energy Transition.
More or less 30 FTE are dedicated to the support of the teams.
Role & responsibilities
Digital Accelerator
- You will mainly support the two following teams to reach their highest potential.
- Panoptic: Enable scalable and reliable remote monitoring of critical assets and infrastructure through IoT sensors and devices, reducing the need for manual inspections and demonstrating measurable contributions to environmental sustainability goals.
- El.ai: Provide a streamlined and efficient process for deploying, monitoring, and maintaining machine learning models demonstrating faster time-to-market of new models and improved model performance.
- You will also support the program owner deploying Agility in the other Digital Accelerator initiatives.
Chapter Organization
Helps individuals adopt the right mindset and behaviors, the teams to embrace continuous improvement and the organization to truly collaborate with the Agile teams.
- Main mission: as the Sparring partner of the program owner and the Agile Chapter, you will :
- Coach, facilitate, train, support and be part of the core change team
- Prepare and facilitate workshops to shape and implement the New Product Organization: Key users WS, Product scoping WS, Teams composition WS,…
- Coach, train, support the product teams or the leaders in their new way of being and working. You will help them to find out how Agile/Lean they can become and support them on their learning journey.
- You will work in waves supporting for a couple of months POCs then learn from it and do a roll out on the other teams to get them ready to start. After this, you will keep on coaching them aiming at a sustainable pace.
- You will ensure consistency and standardization in the way of working both between the Product Teams and in accordance with the company model in collaboration with the Transformation Engine.
- Team up with the existing Agile team: active participation to the Agile Chapter + the Agile Chapter development in order to promote and stay align on the main messages that we share about Agility through the company. It represents more or less 4 hours a week.
Profile
- Team and individual focused attitude
- Know, own and apply, also for himself, the Lean & Agile mindset (value and principles)
- Able to provide a positive and constructive feedback for improvement
- Ability to work fully independently & plan coaching activities without supervision
- Proven work experience as Lean/Agile support
- at least 3 years dedicated to this role (not cumulative with PM/PO/etc.)
- for more than two different company transition
- in a different context than IT: big plus
- build new product and innovative project experience
- Knowledge of Design Thinking Process and related methods and tools
- Able to train Scrum, Kanban, agile and others techniques
- Mastery of several Agile project/product management approaches (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) in order to be flexible depending on the Nest Idea team needs
- Team facilitation skills & focusing on creating the right environment for the team to excel
- Strong interest in innovation and eager to experiment new techniques
- Knowledge of UX design/development frameworks (nice to have)
- Fluent in English
- Any other language from this list is a plus: German, Dutch and French.
