Function Description :
For the ICT Metering team working on in-house developed software, Our Client is actively looking for an agile Functional Analyst who will be eager to:
- Discover and document business processes related to the metering of gas flows, both for local real time acquisition systems as for central validation and reporting systems
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into the most appropriate conceptual model, while building upon the existing architecture and systems
- Document the developed solution into functional and technical specifications using the Client standard tools and methodology
- Participate in the estimation of the required workload
- Assist the developers in producing high quality products, based on defined specifications
- Create test scenarios and execute system integration tests
- Assist the users during the execution of user acceptance tests
- Provide support to end-users on mission-critical systems
General Skills
- Master level degree in an exact science (civil engineering, physics, chemistry, mathematics )
- Interested in gas flow metering business domain in the context of the energy transition
- Experience with data acquisition and real-time systems
- Experience with solving issues and end user support
- Self-starter with a creative touch
- Sees the whole, the parts and all the very small parts
- Great communicator, both written and spoken Team Player ( It will be our success )
- Fast and life long learner
- Dares to respectfully challenge the status quo but can live with an honourable compromise
- Flexibility and adaptability in an ever changing environment
- Fluent in English, Dutch and French
Technical Skills :
- Experience in the use of the following tools
- UML modelling tools (e.g. Sparx Enterprise Architect)
- Relational databases and SQL (Oracle, SQL Server)
- Development Environment (e.g. Visual Studio)
- Excel, PowerPoint, Word
