The acquisition of bpost bank’s shares by BNP Paribas Fortis resulted in a new commercial partnership between bpost and BNPPF. In concrete terms, bpost will become as of January 2024 the largest agent of BNP Paribas Fortis, directly in charge of 1.5 million Mass Retail Clients. In addition, discussions are ongoing to potentially grant access to all BNPPF clients to the bpost network throughout Belgium for basic services and cash transactions. To prepare the implementation of this new commercial agreement, both companies have jointly created a vast program, consisting of multiple workgroups. The Project Manager/Business Analyst will work in close collaboration with the Program Manager and the workgroup leaders and ensure that the various workgroups (s)he is supporting meet the expectations set by the bpost and BNPPF steerco’s. The Project Manager/Business Analyst is assigned to 2 or 3 workgroups to analyze the impact on bpost of the migration towards BNPPF, to reengineer or implement new business processes and manage the day-to-day activities of the projects. (S)he is the first point of contact with regard to the implementation, achievement and realization of the project objectives, together with the Program Manager and the management of bpost Retail, in building the future of the Retail network

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Manage deliverables (planning, content, execution) of specific workgroups
  • Align with the different workgroups on eventual dependencies
  • Align and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, inside and outside bpost
  • Elaborate solutions to business needs and validate them with stakeholders (from as-is process to to-be)
  • Evaluate implementation scenarios based on audience, content and impact
  • Ensure that the developed solutions meets the defined needs
  • Perform data analysis to identify recurring problems and formulate new ideas
  • Flag risk and issues and find eventual alternatives
  • Prepare presentations to present to senior management
  • Define requirements and document the work
  • Communicate and report on the state of the project to management and stakeholders
