Context

The Change Management service contributes in defining, executing, monitoring and supervising and communicating changes related to the program Field Service Management (FSM). This program is implementing a new IT solution for the 450 Field Agents that are responsible for maintaining ETB assets over the whole of Belgium. The goal of FSM is to deploy one solution to support the day-to-day activities of the Field Agents.
Next to the change in the IT solution of our client, the project will also impact many of the processes of their field agents. The change management service will need to play a crucial role in ensuring that the field agents embrace the change and ensures that change initiatives are designed and implemented on time and within budget. The candidate consults with the project team to conceive and draft change plans that can be implemented fast and with minimum staff members’ resistance.

Role & responsibilities

Change design and implementation & communications

Work together with the Project Team, Business Experts and communication teams in order to:

  • Orchestrate, support, prepare and enable change management strategies, transformation roadmaps and change plans to support the impact on processes, technology and people
  • Perform people impact analysis 
  • Define indicators, criteria and methodology to assess change readiness
  • Contribute in the implementation of the change plan together with the related teams
  • Identify and solve main road-blockers of the transformation
  • Facilitate the involvement of ambassadors and key-users in the development of the solution
  • Develop documentation and establish training plan for end-users (+Assess training effectiveness) with project team
  • Create, establish, orchestrate, support, feed and enable the communication plan and provide transparency along the change journey.
  • Coach the project team and ambassadors on storytelling and impactful change communications.

Profile

  • Master’s degree in business administration, energy engineering, digital, communication/change or a related field/equivalent through experience
  • Expert in change management: thorough knowledge of, and experience in, change management principles and methodology and implementation (at least 5 years of experience)
  • Perfectly bilingual FR/NL and very good knowledge of ENG.
  • Experience with large software implementations is a must
  • Experience with transformations projects on field workers is a plus
  • Displays strong communication skills with ability to communicate complex messages to diverse stakeholders
  • Credibility and leadership qualities to take fast and difficult decisions
  • Ability to persuade and lead a team of diverse skillsets in order to achieve common goals
  • Good knowledge of the energy sector and/or maintenance its specific processes and cultural mindset
  • Willing to travel across the whole of Belgium
