Mission overview
The IT department of our client is looking for a highly qualified Senior Project Manager (Expert level) to lead the migration project from SAP BW7 (on-premises) to SAP BW4 (in the cloud) and the transition of all data sources from SAP ECC to SAP S4. This strategic and complex project is part of the overall migration of the SAP ECC to S4/Hana program, with a strict timeline to be respected. The ideal candidate should have strong project management skills, knowledge of SAP & DWH ecosystems, and prior experience in similar projects.
Scope of Work
The mission will focus on two key areas:
Migration Activities:
- Lead the migration from SAP BW7 to SAP BW4.
- Transition all data sources from SAP ECC to SAP S4.
Strategic Alignment:
- Ensure the project aligns with the overall SAP ECC to S4/Hana migration program.
- Manage dependencies and strategic alignment with other IT initiatives.
Key focus areas include:
- Project Management: Oversee the entire migration project, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with senior business and IT stakeholders to ensure project alignment and support.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify and manage risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Financial Planning & Control: Manage the project budget and ensure cost optimization.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and maintain a project roadmap aligned with business strategy.
Deliverables & Responsibilities
- Migration Execution: Successfully migrate from SAP BW7 to SAP BW4 and transition data sources from SAP ECC to SAP S4.
- Project Governance: Ensure adherence to project management best practices and governance frameworks.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Proactively manage project risks and issues.
