Context
Inside the Digital Business Solution (DBS) department, the « Integration, Data & Digitalization » unit is responsible for (among others) the management of data destined for the production of value added information for decision taking, piloting activities and performance management.
Responsibilities
The Data Program Manager will manage and coordinate all activities of the Data & Analytics Program: business requirements management, functional and technical design of the solutions, validation of proposed architecture, development and acceptance of the solutions and operationalization of solutions as well as related change management.
The Data & Analytics Program will include all key projects for the realization of Data & Analytics Strategy. One of the core responsibilities of the program manager will be to assure the Data & Analytics Program’s alignment with the overall corporate strategy with inclusion and adherence of all data stakeholders. In terms of focus, two of the main axes of the program will be the implementation of a new Data Governance for the organization, and the definition and implementation of the target Data & Analytics architecture. The program manager will assure their success.
More in particular, the Data Program Manager will assume responsibility for the following tasks:
- During the preparation phase of the program:
- Identification of stakeholders among all servicesIdentification and definition of the scope of the different projects that constitute the program in line with the overall corporate strategy and the Data & Analytics program’s objectives, and approved by the sponsors and key stakeholders
- Definition of the roadmap, operating model and budget, and validation with the stakeholders.
- During the execution phase of the program:
- Organization and follow-up of the program’s projects and the respect of their deadlines and dependencies within the roadmapContinued alignment of the program’s project realizations and planning with the overall program’s objectives, including alignment with the sponsors and other stakeholdersSafeguarding the respect of the operational modelCommunication to the stakeholders and, in particular, assurance of the coordination with the other components of the program’s activitiesFollow-up of the project managers and key resources of the programManagement of capacity needs in terms of human, technical and financial resource, and collaboration with the team managers and application ownersAssurance of application of standard methods, processes and tools
- Assurance of production constraints.
Profile
- At least 2 year of experience in Data Strategy definition / consultancy
- At least 5 years of experience as program manager or similar role in the field of data
- At least 2 years in Data Governance practice
- At least 2 years of experience in the utilities sector
- At least 10 years of experience in data
- Proven experience in Data Quality organization / improvement
- An academic Master in exact or applied sciences, or equivalent by experience
- Excellent knowledge of French and Dutch, both oral and written
- An excellent knowledge and control of project and program management techniques
- Good knowledge of data architectures and data governance theory and practice
- Capacity to assure delivery in an evolving environment and under external pressure
- Client oriented focus with excellent communication and change management skills with different internal and external counterparts at all levels in the organization
- Key competences: flexibility, stress resistance, organization and planning skills
