Service description
Within the Customers, Market & System directorate, our client aims to establish a data-centric organization. The market and grid data that they publish supports crucial operational, tactical, and strategic activities and drives the creation of new services for customers.
In this context, we are looking for a Data Steward to support the operational objectives linked to the preparation and publication of data on various external platforms and reports. This role emphasizes continuous improvement of data quality as a core part of your responsibilities.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate Data Quality Monitoring: Oversee data quality incentive monitoring and propose optimizations to enhance shareholder outcomes.
- Define and Document Data Quality Rules: Develop and document rules for market and grid data published externally, translating these into KPIs displayed on a monitoring dashboard.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis: Collaborate with Data Partners to investigate discrepancies in KPI performance and identify solutions.
- Implement Solutions: Coordinate and track the implementation of corrective actions and long-term solutions to maintain high data quality standards.
Profile
- Experience in Data Quality Management and Metadata Management
- Knowledge of the Electricity Sector: Familiarity with the energy domain or ability to quickly learn and understand industry concepts; prior experience in the electricity sector is a plus.
- Strong Data Analytical Skills: Proactive and confident in assuming responsibilities, with the ability to simplify complex problems through structured analysis.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in MS Office, Power BI, and programming languages (such as Python) with a willingness to continuously improve.
- Teamwork and Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and empathy to thrive in team settings, coupled with excellent communication and writing abilities.
