Context
Our client, a major actor in the insurance sector in Brussels, is seeking a DevOps Expert to reinforce and revolutionize their practices.
This mission is suited for someone with the expertise to reinforce the DevOps practice within the company. The assignment starts with a stakeholder consultancy to map and document the current practices and needs. Afterwards, they will deliver a practice improvement roadmap incl. a.o. practice enforcements, quality assurance, automation, and training. The candidate must have verifiable long-term expertise in this area of work (ops activities, stakeholdering, lead, SDLC).
Profile
- Ability to collaborate effectively with software development and operations teams
- Ability to drive cultural and organizational change towards DevOps practices
- Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in deployment support
- Experience in implementing and managing quality assurance processes within DevOps workflows
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and infrastructure as code
- Strong analytical, documentation and presentation skills
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices
- Languages: English + French and/or Dutch (nice to have)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Familiarity with platform engineering and self-service capabilities for software engineers
- Previous experience in a similar temporary assigned role
