Context
TogetherHR is a strategic global transformation program. It aims at standardising the HR service delivery model, technology, processes and data definitions across countries within our client. As a result, it will change people practices in all business lines and impact all end users (senior leaders, people managers and employees).
The scope of the program for Belgium includes the following projects to be implemented:
- Workday as new HCM system based on standardized global processes
- Delivery of integrations between Workday and other HR- and non-HR applications
- New data and reporting environment
- Global Service Enablement Technology (SET) supporting chat(bot) and ticketing functionalities; including a solution for functionalities supported by the current tooling
- Transfer of specific operational activities to Central People Services – CPS (ING Hubs in Poland and the Philippines)
- Risk, contractual and legal deliverables enabling the start of the program
- Change management activities such as communication and training enabling a successful adoption by users upon go-live and seamless transition in which local and central HR-teams know exactly what to do
Responsibilities
The TogetherHR Business Analyst will need to analyse the use of multiple so called “End user computing tools”, come up with a solution to adjust these tools to the future way of working and implement this solution in Visual Basic where needed.
Within their HR services department, their teams are using multiple “End User Computing Tools (EUC)”. These are scripted Excel or Access files that perform calculations based on input coming from their HR employees or based on input of reports that are fed into the tool.
The tools then generate output in the form of calculated fields, or the generation of a report.
Because of the TogetherHR change program described above, the way of working will drastically change for a number of processes. This means that potentially the process flow involving EUC’s is impacted as well and needs to be updated.
The Business Analyst will need to analyse this impact, define the solution to be implemented and where needed alter the Visual Basic script to make sure the tools can keep on working after implementation of the new way of working.
