Context
We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Support Tools Specialist to join our client’s team. The team is responsible for managing and enhancing the tools used by the IT community to ensure high-quality delivery processes. The successful candidate will work on identifying, documenting, and improving IT development tools and functionalities, as well as interacting with cross-functional teams to implement new solutions.
You will be part of a dynamic IT team working on strategic projects for our client, a major player in the insurance sector. Your role will contribute to the continuous improvement of IT delivery processes, enhancing the efficiency and quality of the services provided to internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- IT Tools Cartography: Analyze and map the existing IT tools used across various teams to understand their functionalities and areas of improvement.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to capture and document functional requirements for new tool improvements, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation of developed solutions, ensuring they are easy to reference and accessible to both technical and non-technical teams.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as a liaison between the IT development community, Architecture, and Engineering Excellence teams to foster collaboration and drive improvements in IT tools and processes.
Profile & skills requested
- 10+ years of experience in an IT environment, with a strong focus on IT software delivery processes and related tools (e.g., Java, .Net, AzureDevOps, Jenkins, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of IT delivery processes and tools is essential.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, external partners, and senior management.
- Proactive, pragmatic, assertive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Coordination and Leadership: Capable of coordinating tasks with various individuals and departments to ensure alignment and project success.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a plus.
