Context

Our client, a leading player in the Belgian insurance sector, is seeking a skilled IT Project/Program Manager to lead its Cloud Transformation Program. As part of the Technology Transversal Program within the IT division, you will manage and steer various technology-driven projects aligned with group-wide initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • You will actively structure and organize the project and manage the dependencies with other organizations (our client’s Group Operations, TCS, AWS), our client’s Belgium Application Teams, Architecture Teams, and Security Teams.
  • You will collaborate effectively with the sponsor and the various project stakeholders.
  • You will organize all aspects of the project and validate them so that the project meets the requirements of the organization, the methodology and the quality and safety standards.
  • You will take ownership of the functional and technical (quality of service, non-functional requirements, cloud, …) content.
  • You will be accountable and communicate effectively to different levels of the business on the progress of objectives, planning, budget and quality. 

Skills & experience

  • You have more than 10 years experience in project management.
  • You have worked in an agile organisation.
  • You have a very good overview of the different technological components in modern IT, especially on Cloud but also on Network, security, …
  • Knowledge of one of the two national languages and English (knowledge of the second national language is a major asset).
  • Knowledge of the insurance sector is a plus.
