The Belgian branch comprises 17 specialized legal teams and 30 in-house employees across marketing, administration, management, IT, and support.
They are currently seeking a native French-speaking Marketing & Business Development Coordinator to join their dynamic team in Belgium. This team currently includes a Marketing & Development Manager and a Marketing & Business Development Coordinator who is a native Dutch speaker. To complete this team, our client is seeking a native French-speaking Marketing & Business Development Coordinator to collaborate with the French-speaking legal teams.

WHAT THE PURPOSE OF THE JOB?
As the Marketing & Business Development Coordinator, your goal will be to enhance our client’s brand presence and visibility in Belgium, targeting both existing and new clients. You will play a key role in developing and implementing business development initiatives in collaboration with local expert teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Primary contact: Serve as the first point of contact for all business development-related inquiries.
- Pitch and panels management: Manage and contribute to practice-related pitches and panels.
- Client targeting: Support activities aimed at acquiring new clients and expanding relationships with existing ones.
- Profile raising: Enhance the visibility of legal practices and their lawyers through internal and external communication.
- Campaign management: Manage the development and execution of marketing and thought leadership campaigns
- Submissions: Compile directory and award submissions.
- Event coordination: Plan, create, and execute events with the support of the Events Manager.
WHO ARE THEY LOOKING FOR?
- Language skills: Native-level fluency in French (both spoken and written) and proficiency in Dutch and English (All three languages will be tested, with additional written French testing)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of comparable experience in the services industry, preferably in a professional services environment. Alternatively, an administrative profile (with minimum 2 years of experience) with a strong interest in communication and marketing (and a desire to develop in these areas). Experience in a law firm is a plus.
- Writing skills: Excellent writing abilities with impeccable spelling.
- Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft O365 tools, particularly PowerPoint.
- Personal Traits: Proactive, calm under pressure (due to very short deadlines and urgent last-minute requests), well-organized, strong sense of document layout and with a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Interpersonal skills: Strong communication skills and an outgoing personality.
- Knowledge: Basic knowledge of law and interest in political and economic news are advantageous.
