The department Business Solutions within Broker Channel and Non-Life developments conceives the most appropriate solutions to support business entities (marketing, sales, operations, …) Therefore, the Business Solutions Claims team is looking for a Product Owner/Business Analyst to lead and work on a
major transformation program (linked with claims management).
The main activities of Business Solutions teams are:

  • Project management within business solutions and/or across the organization
  • Conception and mastering of solutions (ideation, requirements, …)
  • Drive delivery of solutions implemented in IT department
  • Testing, Delivery and Support of solutions
  • Relation management within organization or external to organization

Required Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience in insurance (IARD) – 5 years minimum
  • Experience in Product Owner – 2 to 5 years
  • Experience in Business analyse – 2 to 5 years
  • Experience in managing backlog of requirements – 2 to 5 years
  • Experience in defining and writing requirements – 2 to 5 years
  • Experience in application testing (incl. test cases scenario’s) – 2 to 5 years
  • Excellent knowledge in Excel /PowerPoint
  • Able to create and execute test plans and scenarios
  • Affinity with IT technologies and architecture
  • Interest in new technologies
  • Well organised, with priority management
  • Good analytic mindset and structured mind
  • Quick learner and appreciate complex analyses
  • Willingness to learn and understand a complex application
  • Able to work with deadline
  • Can organise own work and execute independently with regular reporting to direct manager
  • Good coaching and follow-up of less experienced project-team members
  • Team player
  • Good communicator and workshop animation

Objective of the job

Support the product owner in his/her daily tasks: requirements refinement session, show & tell, PO GO, follow-up of actions, organisation of the backlog,…

  • Work as business analyst on dedicated scope
    o Needs analysis in collaboration with all stakeholders to lead to solutions definition & challenge
    o Requirements writing
    o Testing preparation / execution
  • Collaboration with the IT and other Business teams and stakeholders
  • SPOC for questions during the project and the roll-out
  • Documentation writing and information sharing to ensure smooth transition to the business as usual
