Our client, a key player in the banking industry, is seeking a Project Manager Business to support a variety of cross-functional projects and initiatives. As part of the COO office of Affluent & Private Banking, this team handles a range of projects, from HR to IT, as well as ad hoc business needs.

Our client values a well-rounded, proactive project manager with strong interpersonal skills and experience in large organizations with multiple stakeholders. The ideal candidate will establish a governance structure, act as a facilitator to coordinate involved parties, and ensure efficient progress towards project goals.

Project Focus Areas

HR Projects Related to Wellbeing & Diversity

The Project Manager will use proven methodologies to foster co-creation and ensure active participation from all stakeholders, driving a consensus-based action plan. This role involves close contact with various teams to exchange best practices and share information, with the aim of creating a comprehensive wellbeing and diversity plan. Transversal action points will be applied at a national level, while local actions will be adapted locally within Affluent & Private Banking.

SharePoint Migration Project

The bank is currently undertaking a large-scale migration of data from shared drives to the cloud. The COO office leads this project in coordination with IT to migrate data for HQ and front-office teams in Priority Banking, Private Banking, and Wealth Management. This migration includes user access management, document management, and addressing potential shadow IT issues. The objective is to complete the transition to SharePoint by the end of 2025.

Function description

  • Governance: Establish and oversee project governance structures
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Track progress, prepare reports, and communicate updates
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify and manage risks and issues
  • Process Improvement: Drive improvements for efficient project delivery
  • Time Management: Ensure project timelines are respected
  • Documentation & Change Control: Maintain and manage project documentation

Profile

  • Language:
    • Dutch: Must be fluent bilingual (Dutch-French or French-Dutch)
    • French: Must be fluent bilingual (Dutch-French or French-Dutch)
    • English: Good understanding is an asset
  • Qualifications:
    • Master’s degree or equivalent experience
    • At least 5 years of relevant project management experience
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency with SharePoint & OneDrive is preferred
  • Sift skills:
    • Strong communicator with diplomatic skills and customer focus
    • Commercial awareness and client orientation
    • Proactive and goal-oriented with a structured approach
    • Ability to inspire teamwork and motivate colleagues
